Vistra鈥檚 corporate headquarters, in Irving, Texas, has earned the Environmental Protection Agency鈥檚 prestigious 2021 Energy Star certification. Vistra has earned the honor each year for more than a decade.
This certification is a national symbol for superior energy efficiency and environmental protection. On average, Energy Star-certified buildings and plants use 35 percent less energy, cause 35 percent fewer greenhouse gas emissions, and are less expensive to operate than similar buildings.
Each year, Vistra鈥檚 facilities team ensures energy-efficient practices are incorporated into building management programs, including utilizing occupancy sensors and LED lighting and optimizing building automation systems.
